Came across my child's pre-school teacher's Facebook. She posted my child's photo. what should I do?

She cannot post w/o your permission. When you enrolled, you may have signed a 'photo release form'. Then, your child's photo could be used, but ONLY in promotional material for the school. Contact the director and let them know what you have found, and contact your state licensing. Definitely speak with the director, she is the one to 'lay down the rules' in her school. Quite possibly, the school has failed to include the 'no photo' rule in their policies for staff, this may be a way to educate the teachers! some state licensing agencies do have strong rules against photos taken at school for 'personal use'. I am sure your child's teacher thought this was OK, and she wanted to show off the kids having fun in her cl. She needs to know THESE are NOT HER KIDS and she does not have the right to 'take her work home'. As for her daughter visiting, many clrooms have volunteers come and visit. I have highschoolers volunteer twice a week. They read to /and play with the kids, and just help out in the clroom. They have permission from their parents, their school, and the our school.
