Is it really possible for a female to pee standing upright facing the toilet?

Don't be offended I've been stumped by something on a daytime TV show. A woman said that such a pee is possible however I'm not entirely sure. Please enlighten me ladies or maybe even gents is it really possible. I have heard in the past about special devices for women but I'm not talking about them.
