Is aristotle the only one who dosn't dig the spartans? S.O.S?

Thucydides and Xenophon both wrote quite a bit on Sparta. Even though they seeked objectivity they still cant truelly free themself from their environment, which was very different from Spartan society. The result is that you can find much wonder about- and (concealed) criticism on Sparta in their writings.
