Wow Lunar Festival: Get Past Orgrimmar Grunts?

Lvl 60 druid here, trying to get elders. How the **** do you pick up elders in horde cities when lvl 85 orgrimmar grunts spawn and insta-kill you as soon as you instigate the conversation with the elder?
