Baby squirms around and turns head a lot when latching on?

When I go to feed my daughter, she constantly turns her head from side to side and squirms around before she latches on and it sometimes causes her to latch on incorrectly, resulting in tremendous pain. How do I get her to not squirm when I'm trying to feed her? Its frustrating for both me and her and then she starts crying and it makes feeding even more unpleasant. Oh, and she is always swaddled before feedings [with her hands bound obviously] because she likes to put them near her face.
