How come Ash Ketchum (Pokemon) wins at everything and fulfills random prophesies all the time?

ya its because he is the main character and the best dude around. lol the point that i dont get is when he meets the pokemon in movies and in the show its like it isnt even apart of the story line when it should be. isnt it true. even though i love pokemon with all my life cant wait till tomorrow i think ash is pretty dumg lol. it is because he has so much powerful pokemon at professor oaks house but to he wants the new but bad pokemon in every different season lol. and pikachu shouldnt he be lvl hundred lol 4 season and he can still be beat come on he should be one hitting every pokemon he attacks.
