Help with how to stop severe back pain!?

Pain is an indication that something is wrong and shouldn't be ignored. And, you don't want to be messing around with syringes in your lumbar spine area! There are epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks that can be done, but they must be performed by a qualified doctor. It sounds like you have impingement or entrapment of nerves that are causing your discomfort. It could be from prolonged bad posture when studying, relaxing, gaming, etc. It could be from inherited issues with regard to your spine. You could try things like heat therapy to help relieve the tension, ice therapy when the pain hits. Try scheduling a visit with a pain management specialist for medical options. Or, since chiropractic has been shown to be of benefit with low back pain, you might seek one out. Also, you might look for a good, capable mage therapist who can also help. Good Luck with responsible pain management and with your studies.
