Glee is my favorite but im confused on one thing ???

in episode ballet finn says to quinns parents that he didn't have wiv her but yet he still believes that the child she carries is his..,...man the glee would have been reallyyyyy gud if they thought hard about the story line on finn.....they make him dumb when he so damn fine.....
