Canadian Lenders ociation? Anyone ever deal with them?

Wondering if anyone has ever dealt with this company? They want money upfront before giving out the proceeds of the loan. They claim it is "collateral", not an upfront fee which is illegal in Ontario........anyone know if they are a real company?
