Bf just broke up with me, but can i tell him this? how if so?

ok so my bf just broke up with me like, monday, (dont worry im fine and thats not a lie bc next few words...) but i still like him... idc if he doesnt, but i kinda wanna tell him in case something does happen and we get back together, altho id rather we not... but itd be nice if we could =P ok so, since i still like him, do i tell him? if so, how??? or should i just admire him from afar xD thaaaaaank u guys
