Advice please? thanks (intro paragraph)?

The graphic novel Maus I and the comedy Life Is Beautiful are both non-traditional depictions of the Holocaust. Although they have contrasting styles, both focus on a survivors tale and the relationship between the main character and his son. Maus I tells the story of artist Artie Spegielman writing a comic book of his father, Vladek’s experiences preceding, during and following the Holocaust. Art makes sure not to limit the book to strictly war and Holocaust stories so as to make it more relatable and less like a history textbook. Art realized that most people’s understanding of the Holocaust is limited to facts, so he took his father’s survivors tale and put it back into context, with a love story between Vladek and Anja and Vladek’s relationship with Art for a more enjoyable and comprehensive book. Life is Beautiful is similar in that its overlying theme is the love story of Guido and Dora, and the heartwarming relationship between Guido and his son, Joshua.
