Mac or Windows computer question (no fan boys please)?

I'm getting a laptop for college and I'm debating whether to get a Windows based PC or Apple Macintosh laptop (MacBook Pro). My friend is a high tech professional, going to study programming this fall at Akron University. He knows everything there is to know about computers. He, of course, is a Windows Fan Boy, but gives intelligent advice and says to go with a Hewlett Packard (HP) laptop. I have always liked the looks of Apple products and have been attracted by the new MacBook Pro 15". Can you please give intelligent advice on whether I should get an HP laptop or an Apple laptop, please? And please, no fan boy ranting.

alright, i just turned 18 june 30th. and i've had my period since around june 12th. i can't take birth control because i have a high history of blood clotting in my family. i won't take the depo shot because of the risks of bone marrow loss and it usually makes your period more screwed. i'm really afraid this will affect my chances of having a child. please, what is wrong with me?

Why can't you CYCLISTS use the sidewalks?

Get off the road !!!.. Its annoying having to wait in traffic for eons just because of you. I promise and I honest to god mean this, I'm not bluffing, when I get back home if I see a cyclist on th road blocking me I will either touch him sidewards with my car, or drive so fast in front of him he either DIES !!!!!!!!!! or goes on the sidewalk.
